About the Role
This field-based position will report to the Sr Director, Medical Science Liaisons. This position requires scientific knowledge, clinical acumen, and therapeutic area expertise to successfully engage external customers in medical and scientific exchanges consistent with the goals and objectives of the CD&MA department. This role will function as a subject matter expert and be responsible for developing and maintaining both internal and external professional relationships in support of lead product candidate as well as other pipeline assets. Within the assigned geography, this person will conduct tactical and compliant peer-to-peer scientific interactions with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and formulary/market access decision makers. This person will function as a key contributor within a small and rapidly growing company and actively contribute insights/analytics gathered from the field to build and refine strategic objectives.
Minimum Requirements
- Advanced degree in the life sciences (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MD)
- Minimum of 5 years in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry
- Minimum of 2 years as an MSL
- Travel Requirements: Up to 30% Travel
